राजस्थान की पाण्डुलिपि संपदा का संवाहक - राजस्थान प्राच्य विद्या प्रतिष्ठान : एक सर्वेक्षण

Abstract

Multitudes of manuscripts which reflects different aspects of culture of Rajasthan points out the continuity of literary productions despite the continuous battles which ravaged Rajasthan. On the one hand poets produced literature under the state the other hand the Bardic tradition patronage; preserved the history of Rajasthan. Hundreds of  books were written by Jain monks and scholars during their Chaturmasa (compulsory four month stay in one place). Medieval period is the time of renaissance of the Bhakti movement which saw the production of new literature by Dadu and Ramsnehi sects. In post-independence period the  need arose the preservation and reproduction of these books. The state government of Rajasthan established Rajasthan Oriental Research Institute with the inspiration of of orientalist scholar Muni Shri Jinnvi Jinnvijay. Different branches of the institute were established in different cities of of Rajasthan. The present paper is a survey of the kinds of manuscripts preserved in different branches of the institute. The purpose of the paper is to familiarize the researchers of history and culture with the mass of wealth available in these manuscripts.

राजस्थानी संस्कृति की अमूल्य धरोहर के रूप में अनेकानेक विषयों पर उपलब्ध होने वाली पाण्डुलिपियों की सामग्री के आधार पर, यह बात स्पष्ट रूप से उभर कर सामने आती है कि राजस्थान की भूमि पर लगातार युद्ध चलते रहने के उपरान्त भी अनवरत साहित्य सर्जना चलती रही । जहाँ राज्याश्रय में कवि - पण्डितों ने साहित्य का सृजन किया, वहीं चारण- परम्परा ने राजस्थान के इतिहास को सुरक्षित रखा है। साथ ही जैन आचार्यों तथा उनके उपाश्रयों में चातुर्मासिक अध्ययन की परम्परा में सहस्त्रों ग्रंथों का लेखन हुआ । मध्यकाल का समय भक्ति के पुनर्जागरण का समय है और इस दृष्टि से दादूपंथी और रामस्नेही सम्प्रदायों द्वारा नवीन ग्रन्थों का निर्माण हुआ । ग्रन्थ प्रणयन और संरक्षण की इसी प्रदीर्घ पार्श्वभूमि पर उपलब्ध हुए ग्रन्थों के संरक्षण सम्पादन और प्रकाशन की महती आवश्यकता का अनुभव करते हुए स्वतन्त्रता के पश्चात् राजस्थान सरकार ने पुरातत्त्वाचार्य मुनि श्री जिनविजय की सत्प्रेरणा से अनेक प्रयत्नों एवं सौपानों के पश्चात राजस्थान प्राच्य विद्या प्रतिष्ठान की स्थापना की गई एवं उसकी शाखाएँ राजस्थान के विभिन्न शहरों में भी स्थापित की गई । प्रस्तुत पत्र राजस्थान प्राच्य विद्या प्रतिष्ठान की इन्हीं विभिन्न शाखाओं में संगृहीत पाण्डुलिपियों का एक संक्षिप्त सर्वेक्षण है जो इतिहास एवं संस्कृति के शोधार्थियों को प्राच्य विद्या प्रतिष्ठान में संगृहीत विपुल सामग्री से परिचित करवाने के उद्देश्य से लिखा जा रहा है ।
