ગુજરાતના આદિમ જૂથો (PVTGs) માં આધુનિક કૃષિ ટેકનોલોજીનો સ્વીકાર અને પ્રભાવ: એક વિશ્લેષણ

આ સંશોધન પત્ર ગુજરાતના પાંચ આદિમ જૂથો (PVTGs): કાથોડી, કોટવાળિયા, પઢાર, સિદ્દી અને કોલઘામાં આધુનિક કૃષિ ટેકનોલોજીના સ્વીકારના વલણો અને તેના સામાજિક-આર્થિક તથા પર્યાવરણીય પરિણામોનું વિશ્લેષણ કરે છે. આ અભ્યાસ મુખ્યત્વે સરકારી પ્રકાશનો (દા.ત., TRTI સર્વેક્ષણ અહેવાલો), નીતિ વિશ્લેષણો અને શૈક્ષણિક સંશોધન પત્રોમાંથી મેળવેલા ગૌણ ડેટા (Secondary Data) પર આધારિત છે. તારણો સૂચવે છે કે ટેકનોલોજીનો સ્વીકાર (ખાસ કરીને હાઈ-યીલ્ડિંગ વરાઈટીઝ - HYVs અને રાસાયણિક ખાતરો) અસમાન છે અને જ્ઞાનનો અભાવ, ધિરાણની મર્યાદાઓ, જમીનના ટુકડા અને સાંસ્કૃતિક પ્રતિકાર જેવા માળખાકીય અવરોધોને કારણે ગતિ ધીમી છે. ટેકનોલોજીના સ્વીકારે ખાદ્ય સુરક્ષામાં મર્યાદિત સુધારો કર્યો છે પરંતુ સંપત્તિની અસમાનતામાં વધારો અને પરંપરાગત ખેતી પદ્ધતિઓ પર નકારાત્મક અસરના જોખમો પણ ઊભા કર્યા છે. આ પડકારોને દૂર કરવા માટે સ્થાનિક સંદર્ભને અનુરૂપ નીતિઓ અને વિસ્તરણ સેવાઓની ભલામણ કરવામાં આવે છે.
