Abstract

The entry of Generative AI is progressing very rapidly  in today’s era. This is also a big opportunity for students in the  educational field and it is also a process of moving forward with  understanding. The use of new technology in any field requires  the study of its basics. This research paper examines students’  understanding and assumptions about generative AI, focusing  on four key dimensions. First is basic pillars of AI so they can  understand how Generative AI tools works. Second is to know  about the practice of prompt engineering for meaningful outcome  from Generative AI engine. Third is the ethical implications of  AI for awareness of responsible practice because many cases  regarding misuse of this technology came on the surface. Finally, it  consider the knowledge of AI applications for career development.  This research paper discusses the current status of AI Index and  the extent to which the changes in it will affect students is also  drawn to the attention.
