Kalamandir as a NEP-Responsive Institutional Space: A Gandhian HRM Perspective
Keywords:

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 envisions education as a process of holistic human development that integrates intellectual growth with ethical values, emotional well being, creativity, cultural rootedness, and social responsibility. This vision resonates deeply with Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy of Nai Talim, which views education as an instrument of character formation and community life rather than mere preparation for employment. Despite the transformative intent of NEP 2020, its implementation across higher education institutions has often remained confined to curricular restructuring and formal compliance mechanisms.
